Original Game Descriptions

Heavy Cat Studios can compose original descriptions for the games on your arcade complete with the keywords and tags you specify. We have two professional writers on staff, and our descriptions include proper grammar, complete sentences, properly spelled words and authentic style.

You can see our work on popular arcades like footballgames.me.uk, arcadeblob.com, Nowgamez, Roundgames.com and Zayplay.com.

Here are some examples of our work:

“Against the Wall is a street football competition between two players. The objective is to be the winner of a competition for the best of five penalty kicks, with each player alternating between kicker and goaltender. A twist on the goal-scoring game genre, Against the Wall adds the interesting dimension of defending the goal instead of simply trying to score on every turn.”

“You control a daring llama who runs like the wind through treacherous courses. Time your jumps just right to leap across deep ravines and unlock more challenges. Master the game, and you can unlock and play the full color version.”

“A turn-based war game where you conquer the world by hiring troops and dispatching to the far corners of the world. Cover more territory than your opponent, and defeat him, pitting your army against his.”

“A fighting game where you are ringside as a champion boxer. Duke it out with an opponent and come out on top to upgrade your skills. If your opponent goes down, stay alert, because he may get up again.”

“Play an action-packed game of tennis in a closed arena. Do your best to keep the tennis ball on the opponent’s side of the court by hitting it over with your racket. When the ball’s on your side of the court, take as many swings as you need to get it over. But if the ball hits the ground twice on your side, you lose the point. The ball will never go out of bounds but rather will bounce back into play, so stay alert. Hit power-ups with the ball to affect how you and your opponent play the game.”

Heavy Cat Multimedia Ltd. is a creative group specializing in interactive design, color illustration, linear animation, original fiction, concept development, script doctoring and speculative research. We operate over a dozen popular web properties and we have had a continuous web presence since 1996.

Heavy Cat Multimedia has been at the forefront of entertainment innovation as developer and publisher of one of the first commercial persistent browser-based games (PBBG) (LadyStar™: Reflections in a Dream zStory™ Adventure) and one of the first complete works of original fiction published exclusively on a blog (LadyStar: The Dreamspeaker Webnovel).

Quality Illustration and Animation

Heavy Cat Studios was established in 2008 to develop character designs and top-quality illustrations for the company’s creative projects. Since then, our featured webcomics LadyStar: Jessica Hoshi and the Ajan Warriors and LadyStar: Fury of the Venom Legion have generated over one million pageviews.

Our team of professional artists has also developed the illustrations, user interfaces and presentation designs for seven commercial games on the Adobe® Flash® platform. Together, our premiere Flash web-based games have been played over two million times and generated hundreds of thousands of new readers for our webcomics and players for our other games.

Our animators have brought broadcast-quality cel-shaded linear animation to our list of commercial facilities, enabling our studio to build pre-roll advertising, animatics, concept presentations and game sprites for some of the most popular comic and game destinations on the web.

If it’s a creative illustration, Heavy Cat Studios gets it on paper or on the screen, on time and on budget.

speculative fiction better technology for sci-fi worlds

Better Technology for Better Fiction

Speculative fiction incorporates the fantasy adventure, science fiction and horror genres. These genres have only become more prominent in popular culture, and audiences are increasingly demanding well-written and authentically developed worlds to explore and experience.

When authors and developers need technology for their fictional worlds, they require the services of a consultancy with both experience and audience success. Does your game world need a fictional civilization? Do your interstellar pirates need weapons and power-armor? Does your undersea comic need fantastic creatures? We will both invent and illustrate your concept. We make your imagined inventions real.

Strategic Design

Heavy Cat Multimedia was among the first companies to ask “what if we used a web browser as a game interface?”

The answer to that question promoted the invention of Game Markup Language, an XML schema for describing adventure game environments, Dynamic Systems Engineering, an abstracted object-oriented protocol for mathematically modeling strategy game components, and the Tranquility™ Browser Game Engine, which still powers our browser-based game designs.
